Where this work began.
The San Antonio home for Eden Pearl and his family was the beginning of ITAM’s work with the Gary Sinise Foundation. Joel helped assemble the technology and the people needed to make the installation possible, then stayed with the work through the challenges of construction.
The household’s needs guided the system. Separate climate zones supported comfort in different parts of the home. Family members and caregivers had useful access, while coordinated controls brought entertainment and household functions together.
This first home established the approach that carried through the next five: listen carefully, work alongside the people building the residence, and make the technology serve the family’s daily life.
